DEBORAHS ARISING is a network of women who understand that they are called to arise for such a time as this. We are committed to releasing the Kingdom of God in the earth by empowering others to make a difference.

 

 

 

This ministry was started by a group of women who were hungry to follow Jesus and to know Him and His ways. This small group came together to pray and seek God's face. In the process, they began a journey to hear His voice and grow in their individual lives and destinies. They were determined to spend undistracted time devoted to waiting on the Lord. They were yearning to sit at His feet and worship Him until they knew they were in His Presence. Discovering the unique ways God had designed each of them was also a part of the intent of their gatherings and this led to a high value for honoring one another.

 

In March of 2020, at the beginning of the lockdown, Pastor Margie Arends felt the Lord speak to her from Judges 5:7,

"The peasantry in Israel ceased, they ceased  until I, Deborah, arose, until I arose, a mother in Israel."

It truly is the time for women like Deborah to arise and become all that God has called them to be. The changes and breakthroughs that are needed in the world are waiting for someone—someone like you—to arise. You might impact nations, you might touch a city, or you might change the course of your family's destiny by what you do.

 

One of our passions and callings is to encourage women that they are valuable because they belong to God. Our heart is to see women raised up to become fruitful and powerful in their own spheres of influence. When God spoke this verse from Judges 5, it was the beginning of God's stirring us to reach out to women on a broader scale and call them to awaken and arise to take their place in advancing the Kingdom of God on the earth.
